Koh Phangan and the Full Moon Party

Koh Phangan and the Full Moon Party are as intertwined as peas and carrots. Some 7,000-20,000 people are attracted to the party each month. It is one of Asia’s major attractions for all ages.

The party begins at dusk, When the round yellow moon makes its appearance over the white sand beach. At twilight, small tables are lined up on the beach and thousands of lamps are light. As the evening progresses the beach explodes into a dancing frenzy as different m.c.'s take their turn on the decks. There is something for everyone here. Trance, techno, drum and bass, commercial dance and reggae, no-one is disappointed. There are Jugglers and fire-eaters to entertain the crowds as the night goes on and with the brilliant impromptu fireworks display, the party atmosphere is complete.
